On the morning of July 10, 2016, PNJ continued to launch the program “THANK YOU FOR NOT LITTERING” for the 4th time of 2016 in the area of boat station of Nhieu Loc canal in Ward 2, Phu Nhuan District with the companionship of Phu Nhuan District Youth Union, Ho Chi Minh City Urban Environment Company and Ho Chi Minh City Business Youth Union. Leadership representatives of Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, business leaders and actors, singers, models also participated and called upon everyone to support the program.
In response to this year’s Red Vacation Campaign of Ho Chi Minh City youth with the theme: “Youth giving hands for environmental protection to cope with climate change“, PNJ continues to implement the program “Thank you for not littering” in the boat station on Nhieu Loc canal of Ward 2 Phu Nhuan District on Sunday morning of July 10, 2016.

Accordingly nearly 500 officers, employees, members of the PNJ youth union in coordination with the delegation of Phu Nhuan District Youth Union, the city business youth union and leaders, invited guests, artists jointly scavenged along the embankment of Nhieu Loc canal, picked up rubbish on Nhieu Loc canal, placed a signage to communicate the message “Thank you for not littering” along Nhieu Loc canal to remind the community to dispose garbage in defined places, feed up fish for ecological balance of the Canal, cycle for advocacy, paint lids of drainage tunnels on Phan Xich Long Street, perform advertisement deletion, clean up the railway and donate 15 trashes in convenient locations in the province to contribute to urban beauty, curb littering in public places.

It can be said that although the program “Thank you for not littering” has been officially been launched and deployed by PNJ since early 2016, it has been much pervasive in the community creating the attention of the community, attracting and receiving a response from companies and unions, especially young people today. With the meaningful message and practical urgent activities regarding the environment in recent years PNJ has had a profound impact on the sense of community to join hands and work together to protect the environment increasingly better.
