(PNJ) – In recent two days January 22-23, the delegation of PNJ Charity Fund brought New Year gifts, especially 06 solid houses from the program PNJ Home to the Western region.
The most impressive thing in the charity group is perhaps neighborhood, love of simple people here spent for each other in times of trouble and difficulties.
Visiting Ben Tre – the land covered by green trees – PNJ Charity Fund awarded 03 homes for Mr. Huynh Huu Chi (Thanh Phu district), Mr. Nguyen Chinh Em (Ba Tri district), Mr. Ho Van Ben (Giong Trom district). Three different circumstances, but sharing the same dream – the dream of a stable home for their children to be educated, to keep his wife and children assured in harsh climate conditions in substandard houses just erected by coconut leaves.
Mr. Huynh Huu Chi and his family happily received a house from the PNJ Home program.
Happy moment of Mr. Ben observing the representative of PNJ Charity Fund and local authorities remove the seal, officially presenting the house to his family.
Ms. Huynh Thi Dep (Mr. Chinh Em’s wife) was constantly smiling at the whole delegation; she just hugged her kid and happily said, “I am so delighted at this new house and now when selling lottery tickets I will not be frightened of my children’s booklet being wetted by rain. Now my husband and I will focus on doing business, raising children to school and grow up”.
The happiness of the couple Mr. Chinh Em and Ms. Dep in their new house, thereby their worries about a house will go away
Leaving Ben Tre, the delegation of PNJ went to Tra Vinh with 02 houses to be given to Khmer ethnics. These are two houses that deserve the couple Mr. Thach Sua và Ms. Kim San Bo who have difficult circumstances.
The neighbors told that when the house was being built, Mr. Sua took a chair out and continuously watched the house because he did not believe in such brick-wall house, and his son with mental disorders kissed the pillar
The story of PNJ Home present for Mr. Thach Sua and his family (Ngai Xuyen district, Tra Vinh province) cannot miss Ms. Thach So Phia – a good neighbor of Mr. Sua. She told that previously Mr. Sua and his son came to Ms. Phia’s house to ask for their stay in the substandard house which she abandoned covered with coconut leaves. But the poverty are still clinging to her so she could not help him. She said, “At that time I found him crying again and again, just insisted on asking me for his stay, he said he would not ask for rice, just stay, I felt so sorry for him, so I let them stay in and cooked for them every day. Now he has a new house, I am so happy, thank you so much for your help”.
Ms. Thach So Phia – who agreed to donate Mr. Sua the land to realize his dream of a house with a safe sleep. This is where Mr. Phia and his son used to stay.
Ms. Kim San Bo and her family (who live in Tra Cu district, Tra Vinh province) – feeding 03 children by her labor wage of more than two million VND a month looked happily upon hearing Ms. Thao – Chairman of the Fatherland Front of Tap Son commune – read the decision to give the house to her family.
Ms. Kim San Bo and her children now have their own house to spend time together
Nearly the sunset, it’s time for the delegation to visit the last house – the house of Ms. Phan Thi Kha – older woman who is carrying a lot of diseases and weak health is bringing up her grandchild by feeding chickens. With the love of the Western people for the delegation of PNJ Charity Fund, we did not want to leave, she continued holding our and said: “Thank you, thank you so much.”
Ms. Phan Thi Kha and her grandchild from now will have a firm and secure house
The 6th house also ended two days of intense work of PNJ Charity Fund but joy, happiness during the visit to the West will definitely remain with every member of the delegation. Especially the happiness is the representation of more than 3 thousand of PNJ staffs and employees to bring wishes to settle to poor people.
